Dear Progressive Democrats of Massachusetts,

 

Mass-Care <https://www.masscare.org/> : the Massachusetts Campaign for
Single Payer Health Care thanks you for your solidarity as a Member of the
Mass-Care Coalition <https://masscare.org/coalition-members/> !

 

Whether you've been a member since the founding in 1995 (yes, we're
celebrating 30 years next year) or just joined this year (we've had a growth
spurt), you've impressed lawmakers and activists alike.

 

To continue growing and continue our fight for single payer health care,
please consider making a donation.

 

Mass-Care is our 501C4 organization, which focuses on grassroots organizing
and lobbying and State House lobbying.  Our sister 501C3 organization is
Universal Health Care Education Fund (UHCEF), which provides education and
research.  A donation can be made by visiting

We are especially thankful for the generosity of Coalition Members that have
donated recently: Massachusetts Nurses Association, Massachusetts Teachers
Association, Physicians for a National Health Program, American Federation
of Teachers Massachusetts, and Western Mass. Area Labor Federation, but the
Coalition is 100 organizations.  With your help, we can get the percentage
of Coalition Members donating up to a majority.

 

And thank you, Mass-Care Coalition Members, for taking actions such as

*         Educating your membership and constituents about single payer
health care and An Act Establishing Medicare for All in Massachusetts
<https://www.masscare.org/legislation> , including hosting presentations and
including Single Payer in newsletters.

*         Helping form and even anchoring Hubs
<https://masscare.org/resources-local-organizing-tool-kit/>  that take
responsibility for legislators and more.

*         Forwarding Mass-Care action emails, including petitions, to your
members.

*         Voting a resolution to send to the Legislature, Governor, and
public.

*         Including the Act in candidate questionnaires, if any.

*         Lobbying for the Act.

*         Providing testimony when the Act gets a hearing.
