To whom it may concern,

I would like to state my interest in the part-time position to work on your
website, recently posted to your Facebook page. I am a soon-to-be
17-year-old student in the Neponset Valley area with social media
management experience, a passion for progressive politics, strong writing
and communication ability, and graphic design skills.

I currently hold the position of social media manager on Andrew Flowers'
(PDM-endorsed) campaign for State Representative; however, following the
September 1 state primary, my help will no longer be needed there. On the
Flowers campaign, I have managed the campaign's Facebook and Instagram
pages, created graphics for social platforms as well as print media, and
collaborated with the candidate, campaign manager, and other staff on press
releases and public statements.

In addition to my campaign experience, I also have been involved as an
activist in my community on a variety of issues that range from climate
justice, where I am involved with the Sunrise Movement, to organizing
students at Sharon High to support the Sharon Teachers Association's
demands for a physically safe learning environment, to education and
outreach at SHS on social justice issues. I strongly support your
organization's positions on creating a single-payer healthcare system,  the
use of renewable, green energy, reforming our election process for more
democratic elections, and improving access to high-quality and affordable
education, as well as your commitment to electing truly progressive
candidates.
