On MLK Day participate in one or both of our Brookline Day of Service Projects co-sponsored with Brookline PAX
January 16, 2017 ~ 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Donate your time or goods to either of the two following worthy causes:
1. BROOKLINE FOOD PANTRY, food and personal care item drive.
The Brookline Food Pantry serves over 800 local families through its pantries at St. Paul's Church at Egmont Street.
We will be accepting non-perishable food items that have not passed their expiration date as well as personal care items, like toothpaste, tooth brushes, razors, soap, shampoo, etc.

Donations drop off location: the Arcade Building, 318 Harvard Street (across from the intersection of Babcock Street in Coolidge Corner), from 11 am to 2 pm.
2. MORE THAN WORDS BOOKSTORE AND CAFE, book, CD, DVD, and video game drive.
More Than Words is a non-profit that has served at-risk youth in the greater Boston area since 2004. With locations in South Boston and Waltham, they provide in-store job training in a challenging but supportive environment to young people who are out of school, homeless, in the foster care system, or in the criminal justice system.
We will be accepting books in good condition, both paperback and hardbound, CDs, DVDs, and video games in good condition, suitable for resale. If you need packing boxes, require assistance or have questions about the drive please contact Chobee Hoy at email@example.com.
